ISR Graduates

This summer, both boys have been taking ISR Swimming Lessons and have finally graduated "with honors!" :)  I'm so glad that we did this for both Jackson & Kyle because I feel totally confident that, heaven forbid they fell into a pool, they would both be able to float around until someone could get them out!  Thank you Ms. Bonnie for teaching our boys these life saving techniques!  We'll make sure and practice and we'll see you again next summer!! :)

Jackson's 1st Dentist Appointment!

So...it was finally the day for Jackson's 1st Dentist Appointment!  I know he's almost 3, but the poor baby took forever to get all of his teeth!!  But, we finally made it and...WOW was it awesome!  The dentist office was like a theme park...the waiting room had a rock climbing wall, iPads everywhere, toys, arcade games, and more!  Let's just say Jackson was super comfortable seeing the Dentist after the wait! :)

Then, the sweet dental hygienist showed Jackson all of the tools she was going to be using and practiced on his finger so he wasn't scared!  When it was time for her to do the cleaning, he was a little timid, but ultimately did amazing! We are so proud of you Jackson!!

The Houston Aquarium!

The other week, my Mom and I took Jackson and Kyle to the Houston Aquarium!  We had never been before, so it was super fun visiting it for the first time!  There were a ton of fish and ocean creatures everywhere...even a few white tigers (random I know)...and Jackson and I petted the sting rays!  When we went outside, we all rode the train to see the sharks, rode the carousel, and the ferris wheel!!  What a great day!!  So excited to go back for another visit!! Yay summer!! :)

West Texas Fair Pictures!

Every year, Kent's parents, "Grandmommy & Pa Pa," enter the boys into the "Grandparent's Brag" Contest at the West Texas Fair & Rodeo!!  Here are the pictures of the boys that we are deciding between to enter this year...it's hard to choose since they're so cute!! :)

Our 8th Wedding Anniversary!

On July 5th, Kent and I celebrated our 8th Wedding Anniversary!  We had a wonderful date night out at Top Golf!  The food was delicious and we had a great time hitting some golf balls!  Thank you Nana for watching the boys for us! :)

Thank you Kent for an amazing 8 years...here's to many many more!  Love you so much!!

Baby Kyle is 11 Months Old!

I know I always say this, but I can't believe Kyle is 11 Months Old!!  This month, he learned to clap his hands and wave, "bye bye!"  He also learned to point at things and say, "Dog!"  He started his ISR swimming lessons and walks so well, that he's basically running everywhere!  He babbles and makes silly noises all day long and likes to give Mommy raspberries on her legs! :)  He loves to read books and is still just soooo sweet and wonderful!!  We love you Baby Kyle to the moon and back!!

Snow Cones!!

A few Fridays ago, we took the boys to the new Snow Cone stand, The Funky Flamingo, near our house!  Jackson got a strawberry snow cone, Kent got a Coke snow cone, and Kyle and I shared a pomegranate snow cone!  Needless to say we all loved them...and Kent and I reminisced about our childhood...it was a fun Friday for sure!! Can't wait to go back! :)
