11 Months Old!

Jackson is 11 Months Old!!  At 11 months old, Jackson is WALKING everywhere!!  He loves to squat down (like a sumo wrestler) and "take a knee" (like a baseball player)!  He loves to shake his head "no," but is starting to get really good at shaking his head "yes!"  At Jackson's last check-up, he weighed 21 lbs 7oz and was 31.5 inches long!  Jackson can make the silliest faces…he likes to stick his tongue out, wrinkle his forehead, and squish up his nose!  He still babbles and says, "Dada" all day long!  This sweet boy still has no teeth, but will try any and all food…he thinks he is such a big boy!  Haha!  He still loves to take baths, read books, go for walks, play with toys, and give hugs!!  We are so blessed!!

Las Vegas! (Part Two)

On the last day of our trip, Kent and I did a little more sight-seeing with Brady and Alex and then took a tour of the Hoover Dam!  It was so interesting!  It was fascinating to see a structure that was built in the mid-1930s, which is still so powerful today and provides so much to several states!  We are soo glad that we took the time to do that…it's something we'll never forget! :)

After the tour, we made a few more stops…we went to the Bellagio to see the Gardens and the Water Show.  Then we walked to the Mirage to see the Lava Show!

We had such a wonderful vacation!!  Thank you to Brady & Alex for going with us and to everyone who helped out back home!!  We love y'all!!  Viva Las Vegas!   

Las Vegas! (Part One)

During the last weekend of July, Kent and I went to Las Vegas with some of our besties, Brady and Alex!!  We stayed at the Planet Hollywood hotel and had a BLAST!  We walked "The Strip" to see the other hotels, ate at amazing restaurants, laid by the pool, gambled, and just had an awesome get-a-way!!

Look who we found in Vegas!!  Kent's parents were visiting Vegas and the Grand Canyon the same weekend, so we got together for lunch at the Paris Hotel!!  Sooo fun getting to see them there!

While we were in Vegas, my sweet parents, Ome', and Don watched Jackson in Belton!  I think it's safe to say that everyone had a GREAT time!!  Thank you sooo much for watching our precious baby!!
