Montgomery is 5 Months Old!!

Our sweet and precious Montgomery turned 5 months old!!  Time is really flying by!!  She learned how to roll over (yay) and also got her first cold this month (boo)!  She is still the most amazing baby around!!  Her belly laughs are contagious! :)

We love you Montgomery...to the moon and back!!!

Last Soccer Game & End of Season Party

Jackson's Fall Soccer Season ended last Saturday!!  We LOVED every second of this experience!!  Jackson had the best Coach and had the sweetest friends to play with!!  Jackson scored 2 goals during the season and definitely improved in every aspect of the game!!

Then the Team had an End of the Season Party at the park! Jackson received his 1st medal, ever, and Coach Mark said he won the award for "Most Heart!"  This Mama couldn't be more proud of my baby!! :)

Kyle's Hospital Stay

Well, about a day after our amazing time at the pumpkin patch...Kyle started to get sick! :( He never got a very high fever, but we could just tell something was wrong...

We thought ice cream sundaes would make everything better (which they typically do), but in this case, he was super sick...

So, the next morning, I took him to the ER and after a bunch of testing, he was diagnosed with strep and several abscesses in his throat and neck area.  The doctors were concerned about the placement of the infections and even considered doing surgery...

...so we ended up being admitted into the hospital and wound up staying 4 days while they gave him IV antibiotics and monitored his abscesses.  Kyle remained in good spirits and always let the doctors check him and seriously never complained!!

Even though we were in the hospital for 4 days, we were at Texas Children's Hospital and they are the absolute BEST!!  We received the best care and they always had little treats for him throughout the days...

Luckily and by the grace of God, Kyle didn't need surgery!  The IV antibiotics seemed to do their job by preventing the infections from getting any bigger and Kyle definitely showed signs of improvement.  So, we were released and were only given more antibiotics for Kyle to take for the following week! 

We are so grateful to all of our family and friends for all the help and prayers that we received while we were there!!  We love you all!  Kyle is going to get better...he's the toughest little guy around!!

Pumpkin Patch at P6 Farms

So, Kent and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch at P6 Farms this year and truly had the BEST time!!  The weather was perfect, everyone was super "in" to all of the farm games, and we just loved every second!!

So so much fun...the boys haven't stopped talking about it!!  We can't wait to go back next year!!! :)

Halloween 2017

So, Halloween 2017 was an eventful evening to say the least!!  I may have been stuck in College Station traffic for an extra hour and a half and the kiddos may not have been able to go trick-or-treating because of the torrential down pour of rain, but we still had the cutest Power Rangers ever and we still had the best time with our neighbors enjoying gumbo and watching the kiddos giggle and play!!
