Mexico 2014!! (Part Two)

After 5 days in Cancun with my family, Kent and I packed up and took a taxi about 30 minutes South to attend a friend's wedding in Riviera Maya…here we go! :)

We were with our friends Keith and Rebekah when they got engaged in the Dominican Republic, so we weren't about to miss the wedding!! :) The resort, Secrets Maroma Beach, where they got married, was an "Adults Only" resort, so my parents kept Jackson in Cancun (which was not far away) while we were there! So, Kent and I got a mini-vacation too…a couple days away, just the two of us! Priceless!

It was an all-inclusive resort, so we took advantage of everything they had to offer…but, also slept in every morning too! Haha!

The wedding was on the beach…so sweet, so beautiful! Rebekah looked incredible and Keith was bursting with emotion and pride! Sooo happy for our sweet friends! Congratulations and Best Wishes to you both!!

When the trip was over, we met my Mom, Dad, and Brother back at the airport with Jackson!! I think he was happy to see us, but so was my Mom and Dad…they were a bit exhausted! Haha!!

The vacation was perfect in every way! We loved it all and loved spending time with my family!! Can't wait to do it again next year! Love y'all! :)

Mexico 2014!! (Part One)

After moving from College Station to Montgomery, we took an incredible vacation with my family to Mexico! It was Jackson's first big vacation and, of course, first trip out of the country! Jackson had to get a passport (hilarious) and got to fly in an airplane! He did pretty good…but I think he was a little excited! Haha! The first part of the vacation with spent with my family in Cancun at the Westin Lagunamar! It was an absolutely beautiful resort!! It was located on the gorgeous beach, the pools were awesome, the food was delicious, and the rooms were perfect!

It was Jackson's first time at the beach…and oh boy, did he ever LOVE it! He loved playing in the sand, swimming in the ocean, and taking long naps! :)

Jackson also LOVED swimming in the pool! He loved the water, people watching, and floating around! We brought this float with a canopy…which was perfect!!

We had such an amazing time on this vacation!! THANK YOU SO MUCH to my parents for such an awesome trip!! We love y'all soooo much!! :)

Moving Day!

After our awesome lake trip, it's was time to move! Kent started working with Denbury Resources this past December and has been commuting from College Station to the East side of Conroe ever since (about 1 1/2 hours each way). The Company asked us to move closer to the oil field, so we did! We were so lucky that our house in College Station sold in 2 1/2 days, but because it was so fast, we had to make a decision about the new house quickly as well! We found a great area in Montgomery called Woodforest! We found a beautiful home, made an offer, and they accepted! So after almost 2 years in College Station, the moving truck came and shipped everything to Montgomery! It was a crazy week or so with movers, trucks, and installers, etc. But…we made it to the new house! It's taken us a while to get settled in, but because of the help of our AMAZING family, we're about there...and really starting to love the new house and neighborhood! We are ready and excited for this next chapter, new adventures, and special memories!!
