Jackson's 1st Birthday Party!!

We had Jackson's 1st Birthday Party on Saturday and his Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins all came in to celebrate!! Jackson opened presents, played with everyone, and tried cake for the very first time! It was such a fun and special day…thank you to everyone for coming and making it so wonderful!! We love y'all!! :)

As I passed by the game room, this is what I saw…Pa Pa with Cooper, Jackson, and Hadley up-side down (see her legs in the air!?!?!)!!! It just made my day! :)

Scott, Kristen, Meghan, and Kate had a bunch of things going on during the day on Saturday, but they came up late afternoon to go to the Aggie game and spend the night with us! It was so fun to see all the cousins together and spend more time with them!!

If you look at the top row of this picture…Tommy, Kent, Kristen, and Scott were all on TV during the Aggie Game!! Whoop!!

It was the most perfect day!! Happy Birthday Jackson and thanks again to everyone for making it so special!! :)

Jackson is 1!!!

Our little baby, Jackson turned ONE on September 14, 2014! I can't believe it has already been a year!! At 1 year old, Jackson weighs almost 22 lbs and is 30.5 inches long! Jackson is a very busy boy…he's basically running everywhere and is curious about everything! He loves to point at things, clap, and whistle! He can march in place, blow raspberries on our legs, and babbles all day long! He loves to read books, play with his toys, and give hugs! He is still the happiest and most content little boy ever! He is our biggest blessing and perfect in every way!

Oh what a year it has been!! We LOVE you sweet Jackson soooo much!! :)

1st Aggie Game!

Kent, Jackson, & I went to College Station to watch the first Home Game of the season against Lamar! It was super hot, but we still were able to tailgate a little with Chad, Kelly, Cooper, & Hadley, watch the Aggie Band march-in, and tour the beautiful, semi-renovated, new stadium!

We watched the Aggies run in, but then we were put under a weather delay! We tried to stay, but as it got later, we had to leave! Even though we didn't get to see the team play, we had an awesome time in Aggieland!! Whoop!

Lyndsay's Wedding Week!

Over Labor Day Weekend, my cousin, Lyndsay, got married in Belton in our family friend, Allyn's, backyard! My Mom planned the whole thing with the help of her amazing friends and it turned out absolutely beautiful! Jackson and I went to Belton the week before to help my Mom with all the last minute details and also found some time to visit some wonderful friends!!

First, we went to San Marcos to visit my Godmother Martha, Skip, and Patsy!! We surprised the girls…and had the best time!!

Next, we went to Waco to visit our precious friend Jennifer and Jackson's future wife, Chandler! We had the best time watching the babies play and enjoying their first date at McAlister's!!

While we were in Waco, we couldn't resist the chance to stop by the Magnolia store to see if Chip & Joanna were there…we are the biggest "Fixer Upper" (show on HGTV) fans!!
